3) COOKIES
To make the visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain features, we use cookies.
In order to optimally use our features, we use cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are placed on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (the so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and ensure that we or our partner companies (third-party cookies) recognize your browser on your next visit (permanent cookies). When cookies are installed, these cookies collect and process individual information about the user, such as navigation and location data and IP addresses. Permanent cookies are automatically deleted after a pre-set period. This period may vary for each cookie.
Cookies are used, among other things, to simplify the ordering process by saving settings. For example, they help simplify the ordering process (e.g., by remembering the contents of a virtual shopping cart for a later visit to the site). If personal data is processed via certain cookies we implement, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, letter b of the GDPR for the performance of the contract or in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and efficient organization of the website visit.
In certain cases, we cooperate with advertising partners who help us make our site more attractive and make our online offerings more interesting for you. Cookies from our advertising partners (third-party cookies) are placed on your computer when you visit our website. If we cooperate with the aforementioned advertising partners, you will be individually and separately informed about the use of these cookies and the scope of the information collected in the following paragraphs.
We would like to point out that you can configure your browser to be informed about the installation of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general.

4) CONTACTING US
When you contact us (for example, via the contact form or by email), personal data is collected. The data collected in the case of a contact form is specified in the respective contact form. This data is used exclusively to respond to your request or for the management of the site contact and the corresponding technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request, in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) of the GDPR. If the purpose is to enter into a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your request has been fully processed, which is the case when the relevant facts have been definitively clarified and there is no legal obligation to retain the data.
5) DATA PROCESSING WHEN OPENING A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT AND FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF A CONTRACT
In accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the GDPR, personal data is further collected and processed if you provide it to us for the performance of a contract or when opening a customer account. The collected data is indicated in the corresponding input forms. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to the data controller's address listed above. We record and use the data you provide to us for the performance of the contract. After full performance of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked in compliance with the retention periods required by tax and commercial law and will be deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the further legally permitted use of the data, which we will inform you about below.
6) USE OF YOUR DATA FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING
6.1 Subscription to our electronic newsletter
If you subscribe to our e-newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. To send the newsletter, only your email address is required. Providing any additional data is optional and serves to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have expressly confirmed to us that you agree to the sending of the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation email, asking you to confirm that you want to receive the newsletter in the future. You do this by clicking on the relevant link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us permission to use your personal data in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR. When you sign up for the newsletter, we store your IP address registered with your Internet service provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of the registration, in order to trace any misuse of your email address at a later time. The data we collect when you subscribe to the newsletter is used solely for commercial prospecting purposes via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending a message to the responsible person mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately removed from our newsletter list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to use your data in a manner that goes beyond what is legally permitted, and we will inform you about this in this statement.
6.2 Sending the electronic newsletter to existing customers
If you provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to send you regular emails with offers for similar goods or services from our range that you have already purchased. We do not need separate consent for this. The data processing will then solely take place based on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) of the GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, you will no longer receive emails from us. You have the right to object to the use of your email address for advertising purposes at any time in the future by sending a message to the responsible person mentioned at the beginning. For this, you only pay the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Upon receiving your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will immediately cease.
7) DATA PROCESSING FOR ORDER PROCESSING
7.1 The personal data we collect is passed on to the transport company that has been instructed to deliver the goods, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. As part of payment processing, we forward your payment details to the respective financial institution, insofar as this is necessary for processing the payment. If payment service providers are used, we will explicitly inform you about this below. The legal basis for data transfer here is Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR.
7.2 Use of Payment Service Providers
- PayPal
When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or — if offered — "purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal, we forward your payment details to PayPal (Europe) Sarl and Cie, SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal") for payment processing. The transfer takes place in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR and only to the extent necessary for payment processing.
PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check when using payment methods such as credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or — if offered — "purchase on account" or "paying in installments" via PayPal. For this purpose, your payment details may be forwarded to credit rating agencies in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, based on PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness.
The result of the credit check, in terms of statistics, uses the likelihood of default to determine whether the relevant payment method should be offered. Creditworthiness information may include probability values (so-called score values). If score values are included in the result of the creditworthiness information, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical and statistical procedure. Address details are used, among other things, but not exclusively, in calculating the score values.
For more information about data protection, including the credit rating agencies used, we refer you to PayPal’s privacy statement: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to PayPal. However, PayPal remains, if applicable, entitled to process your personal data to the extent necessary for contractual payment processing.
- SOFORT
If you choose the payment method "SOFORT," the payment processing is carried out via the payment service provider SOFORT GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany (hereinafter "SOFORT"), to which we send the information you have provided in connection with the payment, as well as the information related to your order, in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the GDPR. SOFORT GmbH is part of the Klarna Group (Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 11134 Stockholm, Sweden). The transfer of your data takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the payment service provider SOFORT and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the data controller.
